xDesigned by our French Engineers Nova Carbon Ceramic rear derailleur improves the fluidity of your transmission, enhance efficiency to satisfy the most demanding.Made in very high-end materials: an ultra-light carbon fiber and full ceramic sealed bearings. Two Oversized aluminum wheels, which coupled with full ceramic sealed bearings decrease the chain winding angle with minimal friction.
In this version, Nova Carbon Ceramic Derailleur cages are only compatible with :
- Shimano 105 R7000 Series
- Shimano Ultegra R8000-8050-8070Series
- Not compatible with old Shimano 11-speed R6800 & R9000 Series version.
- Not compatible with Shimano 12-speed R8100 & R9200 Series version.
- Shimano Dura-Ace R9100-9150-8070Series.
You should use a new chain. We recommend adding 3 to 5 links compared to your previous chain.We recommend a maximum 32T cassette for optimum gear change. The Nova Carbon Ceramic Derailleur is NOT compatible with the clutch equipped Ultegra RD RX800 & RX805. 11S Version is compatible with Shimano electric (Di2) 11-speed Ultegra / Dura-Ace derailleurs. Despite visual similarities, the Shimano 105 and the Shimano Ultegra / Dura-Ace 12S versions are not compatible with the Shimano Ultegra / Dura-Ace 11S versions and vice versa.No set of rules can be made for how often your part have to be maintained. Our sealed bearings protected with alloy covers enable a longer lifespan. We designed these parts in a way that you will not have to worry about maintenance or technical issues. No lubricants or grease are required to put on the bearings. During your rides, dirt may get between the cover and the bearings, you can remove it with water or a degreaser. Fully ceramic sealed bearings so indeed there is no risk of oxidation.
